Occasional Climber

Articles

Becoming a writer has been a long journey that started back in the mid 90s, when I decided to try to describe my journeys to the Himalaya. I began work on a manuscript titled ‘Pilgrimages to the Roof of the World’ and announced my intentions in an interview for the City Weekly, when based in Singapore as Regional Manager for the NZ Tourism Board. That was premature and my manuscript got rejected time after time. But one thing can lead to another. Ultimately, that manuscript became part of KHUMBU Gateway to Mount Everest Pathways to Kinship. And I’ve been writing articles for the publications shown here for some years now. Click the thumb images to access lists by publication.
